The Liberty Hidden Countertop Support Plate
Ideal for a streamlined floating bar design, the Liberty hidden countertop plate supports your countertop while staying hidden entirely and allowing for plenty of chair and legroom. Don’t be deceived by its flat design. The Liberty support plate can hold a remarkable 375 pounds when properly mounted to a knee wall.
The Liberty bracket is available in several different sizes to accommodate various hidden countertop designs. The smallest support plate measures eight inches from the beginning of the overhang, and sizes are then in increments of 2-inches, up to 20 inches. An additional 4.125-inch length on top of these measurements accounts for the mounting space.
Available in three colors, flat white, gloss black, and unfinished steel, the Liberty coordinates with any home decor style. The unfinished steel option must be painted or clear coated to prevent oxidation but allows you to customize however you would like
The Liberty brackets are 3-inches wide and 0.25-inches thick. The mounting plate area is 4.175 x 12 inches. Four 0.25-inch countersunk holes allow for a flush mount, and the bracket is compatible with the countersunk brace fastener kit. Safe for mounting thick granite quartz or marble countertops up to 375 pounds.
Installation of the Liberty Hidden Countertop plate is simple. First, measure the spacing and mark the dimensions. Then route into the knee wall for a flat application. Finally, attach the bracket by drilling with countersunk screws.
The Freedom Hidden Countertop Bracket
Look no further than the Freedom Hidden Countertop Bracket for a hidden countertop bracket that you can install directly into your cabinet base. This L-shaped bracket is designed to support countertop overhangs where two-thirds of the weight is already supported by the cabinet base. As a result, the Freedom bracket is ideal for island designs and can even be installed after the fact.
The Freedom bracket is available in several sizes to accommodate various hidden countertop designs and overhang lengths. The smallest support plate measures eight inches, and from there, all sizes in increments of 2-inches all the way up to 20 inches.
Available in three colors, flat white, black, and unfinished steel, the Freedom coordinates with any home decor style. The raw steel option is ready to paint or clear coated and allows you to customize the bracket however you would like.
All of the Freedom brackets are 2-inches wide. The 8x8-inch to 12x12inch sizes are 0.25-inch thick, the 14x14-inch and 16x 16-inch brackets are 0.375-inch thick, and the 18x18-inch and 20x20-inch ones are 0.5-inch thick. Installation of the Freedom Hidden Countertop Bracket is the most convenient feature of this bracket. Either mount the bracket before countertop installation for a completely hidden look or install the bracket after the fact for a modern industrial style.
The Provencial Hidden Cabinet Bracket
When routing isn’t an option, but you want a streamlined floating countertop look, the Provencial Hidden Cabinet Bracket is there. Since the Provencial bracket installs on top of cabinets and utilizes extending arms under the overhang, it’s compatible with European style and standard base cabinets alike.
The Provencial bracket is 36-inches long, 12-inches wide, and 0.25 inches thick. Of the 36-inch length, 12-inches are the arms that support the overhang. This bracket has a stylish black powder coat finish that suits most styles.
Install the Provencial Hidden Bracket either side by side or no more than 18-inches apart to support overhangs of up to 375 pounds. These brackets need to be installed in two spots to distribute the weight evenly and may require an extra substructure to tie into.
For safe and secure installation, you should only use the Provencial bracket on cabinet bases where two-thirds or more of the countertop weight is already supported, and the overhang should be no more than 4-inches past the bracket arms.
The Lincoln Top Plate Hidden Countertop Support
From breakfast bars to serving countertops, the innovative Lincoln Top Plate allows you to turn your half wall or knee wall into a beautiful floating countertop. A KBB Product Innovator Award winner, this inventive U-shaped bracket requires no routing to achieve a flush look.
The Lincoln bracket is available in three sizes to accommodate countertop designs and overhang lengths. All of the Lincoln brackets are 12 inches wide with 10 inch, 12 inch, and 14-inch arm lengths. Arm lengths are measured from the beginning of the overhang, with the extra 3.25-inch allowance for mounting over a 2 x 4-inch stud wall. They are available in a clean black finish.
These brackets are 0.25-inches thick and feature four 0.25-inch countersunk holes for a flush mount. The Lincoln bracket is compatible with the countersunk brace fastener kit and can support 375 pounds each.
Easy installation is the cherry on top of the Lincoln Top Plate. Its multiple-hole design lets you fasten the top plate without hitting nails into your framework and alternate holes to fasten the bracket into your substructure. It is even designed to be used side by side with the Liberty Hidden Countertop Support Plate if needed.
The Anthem Hidden Corner Overhang Support
Make sure you’re not cutting corners on your floating countertop support. The corner is often forgotten in countertop design, but it is one of the longest parts of an island countertop and needs sufficient support. That’s where the Anthem Hidden Corner Overhang Support comes in. It extends out to the inside corner of your cabinet base for maximum security.
The Anthem bracket is available in three sizes to accommodate different countertop designs and overhang lengths. All of these brackets are 2 inches wide with a 6.5-inch mounting area, and arm lengths are 12, 14, and 17 inches. Additionally, this bracket is available in a nice black powder coat finish that matches most designs.
Designed to work with other hidden countertop supports for full countertop support coverage, the Anthem Corner Support can hold up to 375 pounds when correctly installed. It has four 0.26-inch holes for secure mounting with the standard brace fastener kit. The Anthem corner bracket is almost entirely hidden, and installation is easy with the Anthem installation guide.
