In a year that continues to surprise us, insert the latest and hottest design trend: Cottagecore! This styling trend emerged in a big way inspired by worldwide lockdowns. I discovered fairly easily & quickly that Google’s Top Charts listed “Cottagecore” as the #1 trending home decor style search for 2020. Much like those pesky Covid-19 line graphs, the Cottagecore search engine traffic started taking off in March 2020. With positive growth since that time -- complemented with huge spikes in late summer as well as early fall -- Cottagecore is clearly not going anywhere, at least according to Google Top Chart trends.
