The season of spring cleaning has arrived while we are simultaneously trying to flatten the curve and social distance. Let the following tips be your game plan to organize room by room for improved remote life productivity!

LAUNDRY ROOM

  • Floating shelves simplify & update traditional cabinet areas! Create the ideal storage and display area above your washer and dryer to make your laundry room a welcoming oasis
  • Hide the packaging! Go for a clean, uniform look by using baskets or clear containers to store and display needed laundry room products (detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
  • Toss anything toxic or expired
  • Discard over-used gloves, sponges, etc.
  • Opt for all-purpose cleaners instead of single cleaning items to reduce clutter/excess bottles

BATHROOM

  • Sort through and toss any empty or expired products
  • Take items out of the shower that you are no longer using
  • Dispose of old razors
  • Fold towels and washcloths. Discard any that have stains, holes, etc.

LIVING ROOM

  • Organize, toss, or donate any old movies, DVDs, CDs, magazines, etc.

  • Check in between your couch cushions & under your couch for trash, remotes, crumbs, socks, batteries, etc.

GARAGE
