The Hammam Lavatory Support by Federal Brace is designed to mount on the side of wooden wall studs with the support arm extending out and under a vanity or stone top. This support system comes in one size and finish with an invisible or floating surface configuration. The 1/2" thick arm is centered on the 24" tall Hammam and provides 20" of support under a lavatory counter. Your vanity surface should not extend more than 4" past the end of the support. Place one bracket on every stud for the length of the lavatory counter.
Vanity Supports will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) when installed per the requirements of the Accessibility Guidelines, Section 606 Sinks, of the Act.
Federal Brace recommends using a vanity support that extends within 4" of the front edge of the vanity. Excessive overhang may cause significant force in a point load situation. Maximum load carrying capacity on vanity support brackets is 200 lbs. with 1/32 deflection.
